NZ Online Asbestos Awareness
NZ Online Asbestos AwarenessGreencap offers its own proprietary online asbestos training course, designed as a cost-effective introduction to the asbestos Health and Safety at Work (asbestos) Regulations 2016 and the Approved Code of Practice; Management and Removal of Asbestos 2016.
This course is designed for tradespeople, maintenance personnel, property managers or anyone who is at risk of encountering asbestos or may need to work with small amounts of asbestos.
29766 Remove Friable Asbestos (Class A)
Remove Friable Asbestos Class AThe Remove Friable Asbestos course is designed for anyone currently working in the asbestos removal industry wanting to gain a formal New Zealand NZQA Asbestos qualification.
This course is a prerequisite for application for an Asbestos Removal Licence from WorkSafe NZ for either friable (class A) and non-friable (Class B) Asbestos removal.
29767 Supervise Asbestos Removal
People credited with this unit standard are able to plan for asbestos removal; prepare site for removal; supervise testing, compliance, and documentation in consultation with the assessor and the asbestos removalist; oversee removal and decontamination processes; and supervise and support team members.
29768 Conduct Asbestos Assessment Associated With Removal
People credited with this unit standard are able to plan for assessment process of asbestos removal; prepare to collect site measurements and other data; use measuring devices to collect site information and data; complete the monitoring process; and evaluate and document results of the monitoring process according to accredited laboratory requirements.
